Freediving has been my passion since 2015.
I became a freediving instructor in 2019. Since then, I've certified 523 freedivers.
Experience in open water and the pool
I've been teaching in pools as well as in open water. We've dived in cold dark mountain lakes and warm southern seas, under ice and on tropical reefs with turtles, sharks, and dolphins, explored sunk airplanes, shipwrecks, and underwater museums.
Sport
I've organized international freediving competitions and participated in international freediving competitions and championships as a safety, athlete, judge, and coach.
Inclusive training
As a freediving instructor, I've worked with people with disabilities, people overcoming addictions, and people who recently returned from prison to create a community to help them interact with other social groups.

Where do we dive?
We dive in Turkey and Indonesia depending on the season. Choose the location that suits you best!

Kas, Turkey
May — October
Enjoy the warm turquoise water of the Mediterranean Sea with amazing visibility. Try famous Turkish cuisine with the sweetest baklava, fresh seafood, and the ripest vegetables, fruits, and berries. On top of that, you can explore ancient Roman and Lycian ruins and picturesque mountain landscapes. We promise you'll find what to do between your freediving activities!
Bali, Indonesia
November — April
Even though the period from November to March is the wet season in Indonesia, my location on the island of Nusa Penida is much drier and and has fewer rains than the Bali island. The water is always warm and clear, and the reefs will lavish you with bright colors and rich underwater life. Here, the ocean is usually calm and clean, just as freedivers like it!

My partner and I recently did our Wave 1 course here and loved every second. Going into it, I was quite nervous, really not a huge fan of being in the ocean, from leaky snorkel masks to strong currents and fear of certain fish. This course completely changed my mindset, giving me the tools to feel at home in the ocean, respect and admire the marine life and be completely at peace 10s of meters under the surface. It was so much more than the qualification, I really would recommend it to anyone no matter how cautious you may be. Seva, our instructor was so patient and never spoke about numbers, so you go through ticking all the boxes to qualify without even realising, it makes it all feel so effortless. The school was incredibly welcoming and helpful even in the days before the course.

My partner and I did the Wave 1 course with Seva, and we had a fantastic experience.

Seva is an incredible teacher, very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and funny.

I felt safe and looked after.
The course was well organised, and it was great communication before and during.

The pre-course material was excellent and easy to understand, I recommend studying the materials before the course starts.

The theory sessions were very informative. Seva found a good mixture between passing knowledge and making it entertaining.
The practice sessions (2 times pool and three times open water) were enjoyable and challenging.

Seva did exercises with us on relaxation and breathing gymnastics.

I feel like we have gotten a good first level of understanding on how to freedive.

I have nothing to compare this with, but I'd go back to Seva for more education on freediving.

I joined them for w1 and only with the intention of understanding what FreeDiving was but after three days I take much more with me.
The experience has been wonderful and highly recommended. The amount of new sensations you generate in a few days, based on enjoying, relaxing, and learning are incredible.
I would like to make a special mention of Seva, who was my instructor, with a beautiful energy and abilities to teach and transmit what was necessary that I had not seen for a long time. I wish you the best ❤️🙏.
See you in the water 🙃

We took the Wave 1 course with Freedive Nusa after hearing very positive recommendations from multiple people we met along our travels. Our guide Seva was an absolute standout—his humour, support, and professionalism made the experience not only enjoyable but also profoundly educational.

What really impressed me was Seva’s deep understanding of the science behind freediving, far exceeding the level of sophistication I've seen from top scuba diving shops all over the world. This instilled confidence in the training I was receiving and gave me a newfound appreciation for the sport. It’s clear that this is a high-end shop that takes its craft very seriously. They have equipment to measure oxygen saturation, check inside your ears, measure lung capacity, and even help clear your sinuses before the day. The gear provided was top-notch and in excellent condition, and the ginger tea was a real treat after a day of diving.

My partner faced some challenges with equalizing in the upside-down position, and we were concerned she might not meet the course requirements. However, Seva’s dedication and relentless support made all the difference. He worked tirelessly with her to troubleshoot the issue (again with science!), keeping her spirits up and ensuring she succeeded. It's worth noting that with the Molchanov program you can get partial accreditation if you don't meet all the requirements, which is great for those who progress more slowly as it allows you to continue working on your skills and pick up where you left off down the road.

Overall, this was a top-tier experience that exceeded all expectations. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or new to freediving, you should dive here.

Had an amazing experience here. Seva is a really good trainer and funny guy (although his taste in movies can only be described as very ancient) who introduced us to the joy of freediving and helped us make rapid improvements. Can only recommend staying there if you wanna get into freediving and have a good time!

It was amazing! A beautiful and rich experience! Seva was an incredible teacher who understood all of our limits without even us telling him! It was my first time freediving and I was quite afraid but all the staff that we were with during the open water practice made sure we were alright and helped us as much as they could! With lots of calm and positive vibes. Even at the end of the practice we did a fun diving! Thank you so much!🪻

The ideal place to start and try freediving. It was my first time and I finished my "Wave 1" course here. Vsevolod (Seva) was my coach and I can say only positive things about him and his teaching approach. He has his own way of coaching and explaining things with great examples. In the water, he is very professional and knows how to calm down and set up his students for a dive.

Thank you for your time and professionalism.
